Accessibility software, free for everyone.

Rockstar Health is not just hardware. We build native macOS applications that remove barriers between people and their computers, published on the Mac App Store, free to download, and open source. Same mission as our mobility products: designed by a wheelchair user, built around real daily use.

Our Mac App Store apps

Both apps are free, run entirely on your Mac, and were built because our founder needed them.

Why we build software

Our founder's hands make typing difficult. The dictation apps that worked all wanted a subscription and sent every word to a server. The controller remappers were abandoned, paid, or fought the operating system. So we built our own, and we give them away.

Every app follows the same rules. Free, with no account and no subscription. Private, with processing on your own machine wherever possible. Native, built with Apple's own frameworks so VoiceOver, Voice Control, and system accessibility settings work the way Apple intended. Open source, so nothing we claim has to be taken on faith. If assistive software is the only way someone can use their computer, it should not sit behind a paywall.

Websites and infrastructure

The same team that builds our apps also builds custom websites and web infrastructure for clients, with accessibility treated as a requirement rather than an afterthought. Revenue from this work supports our nonprofit mission.
